The Stafford Hotel London recently rolled out the Baggage Emergency Response Squad to help guests whose luggage winds up lost on the flight over. The hotel provides the guest with a complimentary “first aid kit” containing toiletries, wool socks, and packaged “knickers.”

Recognizing the stress that ultimately ensues, The Stafford London by Kempinski has implemented a new army of knights in shining armor ready to come to each frazzled traveller’s rescue.
The hotel’s “Baggage Emergency Response Squad” is on call 24-hours a day, eager to bring guests peace of mind by alleviating the headaches that come with misplaced luggage. Lead by Assistant Head Concierge, Peter Knell (boasting 15 years experience as a concierge in London), this elite team springs into action the moment a guest walks in the door sans bags with a three-step operation:
1. Immediate First Aid – Upon arrival, guests receive their own “First Aid Kit.” These customized, complimentary packs are stocked with essential personal items and are tailored for both men and women. They include:
• Packaged “knickers” from fine English retailers Turnbull & Asser or Rigby & Peller

Guests at the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago can borrow one of 17 electric and acoustic Gibson guitars. And it’s all free: There’s no charge and no limit on rental period. For those that need to brush up, a 70-minute tutorial is available on guestroom televisions or the hotel can arrange a private or group lesson with Guitar Chicago. Fellow guests don’t have to worry about the noise: headphones are included, so the sound won’t travel.
